J.O.B Entertainment is run and managed by John O Brien, John has over 20 years experience in the DJ scene having completed many weddings and events. John has played at some of Munster’s best known hotel venues such as The Maryborough Hotel, Fota Island Resort & the Garryvoe Hotel.

I started DJ’n in the year 2000 at the age of 13. I actually bought my first set of turntables from the well Known Carl Johnson of Disco 2000. I started with youth club discos and house parties. In 2004 I joined Disco 2000 now known as D2K Ltd as a DJ working in Cork city DJ’n at birthday parties & weddings. In 2007 I worked for the biggest agency in Munster at the time Ted Dunne Entertainment. Between working freelance and for two established agencies I have gained a high level of experience.

I can cater for all types of parties, and from all ages. I know what to play and make sure the customers needs are always met, whether it be with song choice or maybe a customer is looking for a bigger set-up. I can also offer time extensions if the customer requires this.

Since the beginning I am very proud to say every gig I have ever booked in has been completed, to this date I never had any gig that the DJ was a no show. I pride myslef on this and guarantee reliability when it comes to booking with me.
